Huit cent cinquante-quatre millions de personnes sont sous-alimentées dans le monde – elles disposent de moins de 1900 calories par jour–, dont 820 millions dans les pays en voie de développement (contre 823 millions en 1990). Le rapport annuel publié, lundi 30 octobre, par la FAO, l'Organisation des Nations unies pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture, ne traduit pas d'amélioration depuis dix ans.
